The Montour Falls Fire Department has announced its annual festival and parade set to run from June 8 through June 10 off State Route 224 on Clawson Boulevard.
Open to the community, the festival will offer a variety of entertainment, including rides, live music, food, games, and notably, the Parade of Bands.
While entrance is free, those wishing to enjoy the rides will need to purchase tickets, with options for individual tickets or all-day wristbands.
The festival will open at 6 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, and at 12 p.m. on Saturday, with rides operating throughout, barring the parade time.
Additional entertainment includes daily bingo games starting at 6 p.m., a cornhole tournament on Saturday morning, and raffles on Thursday and Saturday nights. For those with an appetite, BBQ chicken will be available from Friday evening and throughout Saturday. The festival’s main attraction, the Parade of Bands, is set to commence at 5 p.m. on Main Street.
